Last Saturday (May the 20th, 2006), I registered with GarageBand.com. It is a website where musicians can upload their songs and let them be reviewed and rated by loyal listerners and other musicians. It is supported by well known producers such as George Martin (The Beatles) and Jerry Harrison (Talking Heads).
Anyway, I entered the song "Afterglow" in their review contest and it was award the track of the day Tuesday May, 23rd 2006. That's three days after entering the contest. Here is a sample of the email I received:

Congratulations! As a result of some very enthusiastic reviews from GarageBand.com members, "Afterglow" will be Track of the Day at GarageBand.com.
For 24 hours on Tuesday, the 23 rd of May, 2006 (PST) "Afterglow" will be featured on GarageBand.com's Latin front page.

Another song, "Souvenirs" has received the track of the day award and best keyboards in world fusion.
